Fonda Bell (Hopeful Hounds Founder):
Fonda has been involved with animal rescue for over 16 years and has fostered hundreds of dogs and litters of puppies. Fonda finds it very rewarding when she sees the dogs transform not only physically but emotionally. It warms her heart to first-hand see them learn to play with toys, curl up in a warm fluffy bed, become friends with other dogs, and enjoy affection and love.

Donald Bell (Hopeful Hounds Co-Founder):
Helping dogs has always brought joy to Donald’s life, especially shy dogs, so he joined forces with his wife, Fonda, in creating Hopeful Hounds. Donald wears many hats such as being the kennel attendant and handyman, driving the animals to their designated locations, and helping with photos and videos of the animals.

Emily Bell (Hopeful Hounds Family):
Emily has always loved all animals, but she has a special place in her heart for kitties. Her role involves helping with kennel and transportation duties. She has rescued two cats and a dog (her cat Pumpkin and her dog Mako are Hopeful Hound alumni - Mako is seen with her in this photo as well as on the home page). It warms her heart knowing that every animal saved is a bright spot in a person’s or family’s life.

Charlotte & Maggie (Hopeful Hounds Grandchildren):
These two precious volunteers are Fonda and Donald’s granddaughters. They help socialize puppies and shy dogs, come up with creative names for the pups, and they are even willing to scoop up poop to help keep the area clean! What two great additions they are to the team!
