March 2025 Rescues
Butterscotch - a very lovable 11 month old cat. The caretaker of a local farm brought him to the vet with an injured paw. He said the momma cat had recently disappeared and he was afraid something would happen to Butterscotch. We agreed to take Butterscotch and promised to find him a good home. He is being fostered at Lovingston Vet. He is extremely affectionate and will follow your every step. He loves to get in your lap and even gives hugs ❤️. He's never been around other animals so we are introducing him to some and getting him used to inside noises. If you know anyone looking for an awesome cat - please tell them to email Hopeful Hounds.

Cupie - A 5 year old gorgeous brunette with big brown eyes. As pretty as she is, life has not been kind to her. She was picked up as a stray - underweight with very long nails, an ear infection, eye infections and sores on both hips from sitting all day - either in a kennel or tied outside - watching the world go by. She is a gentle soul that rarely barks. She appreciated all of the attention and care given to her at the vet. She was perfect while they cut her nails, cleaned her silky ears, and medicated her eyes. She was diagnosed with dry eye, and will need daily eye drops for life. She stands perfectly still for them. Look at her 2 "before" and 2 "after" pictures. What a difference just one week on eye meds made!! ❤️

Star and Stripe - 2 sweet little mixed breed female puppies about 15 weeks old. A nice family found them, took them to the vet for a check up and vaccines, then bought meds for their skin issue. They are now healthy! The children named them Star and Stripe. We are thankful that kind family gave them a great start in life.
