January 2025 Rescues
Forrest - a handsome stray foxhound about 4 years old. He was at animal control for about 2 months before we thankfully got him accepted to a rescue in NJ. Hounds can be hard, but Forrest was so well behaved and sweet. He would rub against your leg like a cat for affection.

Tigger - Tigger and his brother Roo were seen being left on the side of the road. Unfortunately the person didn't get the license plate number, but thankfully he put them in his vehicle and brought them to Animal Control. They are about 10 months old and seem to be setter mixes.
Tiger is the clown of the two. Very sweet and silly.

Patty - a sweet "chunky monkey" of a hound dog, approximately 6 years old. Patty was picked up as a stray....but SOMEBODY had been feeding her because she weighed 94 pounds !!!

Bruce - a stray Rottweiler about 2 years old. He was picked up walking down the road with a collar on with no ID. I asked a friend that lives near where he was found if she recognized him. She had never seen him. He knows lots of commands and is very well behaved.

Lottie - a tiny stray Dachshung/Beagle mix about 18 months old. She was found in a very remote area. She was somewhat shy, but came around quickly. She has the cutest ears!

Honey - a stray lemon Beagle with a bob tail, about 6 years old. She really helped give Lottie confidence.

Holly - a Lab / Border Collie mix, about 8 months old. She was surrendered before the bitter cold weather, because her owners had no way to bring her inside. This is the photo the owner sent when asking for help.
