October 2024 Rescues
Elvis: a 2 year year old stray black lab mix with an injured rear leg. The injury was old and had healed, leaving him with an awful limp. Radiographs showed a dislocated hip, a broken pelvis that had healed crookedly, and a dislocated patella. It had to be painful when he walked, but you would never know it. Elvis is 100% joy and love. He is a goofy wiggle butt. Hopeful Hounds paid for his amputation, and the painful limp was gone.

Boomer: a 5 year old stray basset hound mix. Look at those eyes!

Joey: a 6 month old stray Pitbull mix puppy with long legs and adorable ears.

Tina: a sweet momma dog that was picked up as a stray with her 2 puppies. She's only about 18 months old. We think she is a Feist mix with her small frame and bob tail.

Birch: One of Tiny's puppies! Male, about 7 weeks old. Birch as a bob tail too.

Sycamore: Tina's other puppy. Male, about 7 weeks old. Dad might have been a Beagle!

Grover: a tiny stray beagle about 4 years old. He has the cutest face and ears. Animal Control gave him a bath and sent Fonda a picture.

Paulina and Priscilla: 2 sweet little stray kittens about 9 weeks old. Huge thanks to Bonnie Stevens for fostering them and taking these great pictures. ❤️

Silverbell: another sweet kitten, about 5 months old, who was surrendered with a broken leg. Huge thanks to Dr. Laurie for fostering her while she heals. We still need a home for her! Please contact Fonda at "hopefulhounds@aol.com" if you are interested!❤️
